Preparing a Python interview in Spanish, or onboarding a Spanish-speaking team? RG3431 – Python: Avanzado (Decoradores, Lambda y Excepciones) is the Spanish edition of Flip It's advanced Python deck: 97 cards with English fronts (__getattr__ vs __getattribute__, ExceptionGroup) and Spanish explanations. The English original is reviewed in Master Advanced Python; here we look at what the Spanish version adds and where it slips.

| Front | Back |
|---|---|
__new__ | __new__ crea la instancia (la devuelve), __init__ la inicializa (devuelve None) |
| data vs non-data descriptors | Descriptor de datos: define __set__ o __delete__, se comprueba antes que el __dict__ de la instancia |
| How does super() work? | Devuelve un objeto proxy que delega en la siguiente clase del MRO |
__bool__ | Si no está definido, se comprueba __len__ (0 es False); si tampoco existe, el objeto es True |
| Can you stack multiple decorators?

Study tips for the Spanish edition
Start at card 50. The title promises decorators, lambdas and exceptions, but cards 1-49 are the object model (dunder methods, descriptors, MRO). Do 50-97 first, then climb back.
Drill the Spanish verbs. Interviews in Spanish say lanzar (raise) and capturar (catch) an exception, gestor de contexto, recolector de basura. Card 31 keeps "garbage collector" in English: add a reverse card per term (« gestor de contexto asíncrono » → __aenter__/__aexit__) so you produce the Spanish word, not just recognise it.
Rewrite these cards:
- Card 5: the descriptor's
__get__returnsvalue, a name never defined; store it inobj.__dict__in__set__and read it back so the example actually runs. - Card 87: since Python 3.11,
sys.exception()returns the current exception directly;sys.exc_info()stays for older code. - Card 40:
OrderedDictin__prepare__is obsolete, class namespaces are ordered since 3.6. - Card 63: if
open()fails,f.close()infinallyraisesNameError; usewith open(...).
The French edition of the same deck is covered in Advanced Python in French.
