Cell biology is the subject every later biology course quietly assumes you already own. Deck NA4376, Cell Biology: Organelles, Processes & Division, packs it into 93 clean, well-ordered cards: structures first, then energy, then the cell cycle, then membrane transport. It is one of the healthier decks in the library, so the work is less about fixing cards and more about learning them in the right shape.

Eight cards worth knowing cold
| Front | Back |
|---|---|
| Rough ER vs. Smooth ER | Rough ER has ribosomes (protein synthesis); Smooth ER lacks ribosomes (lipid synthesis, detoxification) |
| Do mitochondria have their own DNA? | Yes, circular DNA (supports endosymbiotic theory) |
| Where does the Krebs cycle occur? | In the mitochondrial matrix |
| Where do light-dependent reactions occur? | In the thylakoid membranes of chloroplasts |
| What happens during S phase? | DNA replication (synthesis) |
| Anaphase | Sister chromatids separate and move to opposite poles |
| Crossing over | Exchange of genetic material between homologous chromosomes during prophase I |
| Receptor-mediated endocytosis | Specific uptake of molecules via receptor binding and vesicle formation |
Two tips specific to this deck
Build a "where" map. Seven cards ask where something happens: ribosomes, glycolysis, Krebs cycle, electron transport chain, light reactions, Calvin cycle, crossing over. Draw one mitochondrion and one chloroplast, label cytoplasm, matrix, cristae, thylakoid and stroma, then place each process on the drawing. Exam questions mix up matrix vs cristae and thylakoid vs stroma constantly; the sketch fixes both pairs in one go. While you are at it, add a note to card 10: ribosomes also sit inside mitochondria and chloroplasts, which is the same evidence card 92 uses for endosymbiosis.
Update the ATP numbers. Cards 39 and 40 give ~34 ATP from the electron transport chain and ~38 ATP per glucose. That is the classic theoretical maximum; current textbooks give about 30-32 ATP, because proton leak and the cost of shuttling NADH into the mitochondrion lower the real yield. Rewrite the back as "~30-32 (older texts: 38)" so you can answer either version of the question. Card 47 also deserves precision: the Calvin cycle directly outputs G3P, which the cell then turns into glucose.
Study the deck in its four blocks rather than shuffled at first; once each block sits above 80% recall, shuffle the full 93 so mitosis and meiosis cards start competing with each other, which is exactly what a test does.
