Count the cards in deck XK1077 — Finnish Vocabulary: Top 100 Essential Words and you get 101; count the distinct Finnish words and you get roughly forty. The rest are inflected forms of a handful of very common ones — exactly what a frequency list of spoken Finnish looks like, and it changes how you should study the deck.

You will cover: on, olen, olet, olemme, ovat, oli, olla, ole, ollut, olisi, oletko, ei, en, et, emme, eivät, eikö, älä, minä, minun, minua, minut, minulle, minulla, sinä, sinun, sinua, sinut, sinulle, sinulla, hän, hänen, hänet, häntä, me, he, ne, se, sen, sitä, siitä, siinä, tämä, tämän, tässä, tätä, tuo, mitä, mikä, miksi, miten, missä, kuka, joka, jos, kun, koska, mutta, tai, että, niin, vain, jo, vielä, ehkä, aina, paljon, kaikki, mitään, jotain, kyllä, kiitos, hei, anteeksi, hyvä, hyvin, täytyy, haluan, tiedän, tehdä, tule, anna, saa, pois, ennen, takaisin.
Forty words wearing 101 masks
Tally the lemmas and the deck reorganises itself: olla (to be) takes 11 cards — on, ole, olen, olet, olemme, ovat, oli, olla, olisi, ollut, oletko. The negative verb ei takes 7 — ei, en, et, emme, eivät, eikö, älä. minä takes 6, sinä 6, se 5, hän 4, tämä 4. That is 43 of 101 cards spent on seven words. Do not review them as 43 unrelated items: build one conjugation table for olla, one for ei and one declension table per pronoun, then use the cards as recognition drills over those tables.
Case endings with the cases never named
The deck quietly teaches six Finnish cases and names almost none of them: minun (genitive, "my"), minua (partitive), minut (accusative), minulle (allative, "to me"), minulla (adessive), plus tässä, siitä, siinä for the locals. Add the case name to each hint, or you memorise six shapes with no rule to extend to other nouns. Deck LX9087 — Finnish Cases & Grammar is the companion here.
One back to fix: card 61 glosses minulla as "I have". Alone it means "on me" — possession needs the full frame minulla on. Same correction for card 94, sinulla.
Verbs given in the wrong form
tiedä, tule, anna, saa are glossed "know", "come", "give", "get" — none of those is a dictionary form. They are imperatives and connegative stems, the shapes you meet inside en tiedä ("I don't know") and älä tule ("don't come"); only olla and tehdä appear as real infinitives. Write the infinitive into each hint: tietää, tulla, antaa, saada.
Two more gaps. The deck draws no line between tämä / tuo / se (this here / that there / it), between he and ne (they for people versus they for things), or between pitää and täytyy — and mitä is simply the partitive of mikä, which no card says. And everything here is standard written Finnish: spoken Finnish would give you mä, sä, se for he/she and me ollaan for "we are", so expect a second curve when you actually hear the language.
