Deck QQ8669 – JavaScript: Conceptos Fundamentales is the Spanish edition of our JavaScript Core Concepts deck: the same 76 cards drawn from MDN's language overview, English question on the front, Spanish answer on the back. It fits a DAW/DAM course, a Latin American bootcamp, or anyone reading MDN en español.

Question

Seven primitive types in JavaScript

Nine cards to start with

FrontBack (Spanish, as in the deck)
Is NaN equal to itself? No, NaN es el único valor en JavaScript que no es igual a sí mismo
Does const prevent mutations? No, solo impide la reasignación. En objetos: obj.a = 1 está permitido
Temporal dead zoneLa región en la que las variables let/const ocupan el ámbito pero no se pueden acceder antes de su declaración
'3' + 4 + 5'345' (concatenación de cadenas de izquierda a derecha)
0 && 'Hello'0 (primer valor falsy)
Sparse arrayUn array con huecos sin ocupar
Rest parameter syntax...args - agrupa todos los parámetros adicionales en un array
ClosureUna función combinada con su entorno léxico
Can you read private fields outside the class? No … ni siquiera en clases derivadas

Lo que cubren las 76 tarjetas

Siete tipos primitivos (Number, BigInt, String, Boolean, Symbol, Undefined, Null), coma flotante IEEE 754, NaN, Infinity, cadenas UTF-16, template literals, null vs undefined, valores falsy, let/const/var, ámbito de bloque, zona muerta temporal, tipado dinámico, coerción de tipos, == vs ===, cortocircuito &&/||, ASI, for...of vs for...in, switch y fall-through, try...catch, instanceof, objetos como diccionarios, notación de punto y de corchetes, paso por referencia, length, arrays dispersos, map(), parámetros rest, spread, desestructuración, parámetros por defecto, funciones flecha, IIFE, funciones de primera clase, closures, clases (static, campos privados #), event loop, Promises, async/await, módulos import/export, entornos de ejecución (navegador, Node.js, Deno).

Fix these before your first review

  • Delete card 29. The walrus operator := is Python. In JavaScript an assignment is already an expression: while ((linea = leer()) !== null).
  • Rewrite card 35. Its front lost the question; make it ¿Qué operador usa switch para comparar los case? → ===.
  • Complete card 13. The falsy list misses -0 and 0n.
  • Card 54 says the function ignores the parámetros adicionales: they are argumentos (values passed at the call), not parámetros (names in the declaration). Spanish exam questions test exactly that.

A Spanish-specific tip

The deck keeps many English words. MDN en español uses clausura for closure, sintaxis extendida for spread, parámetros rest, elevación for hoisting and ámbito for scope; Latin American tutorials often say alcance instead. Add the term you'll be graded on to each front, then predict the output of cards 23, 25, 27 and 28 aloud before checking them in the console.

Then move on to JavaScript ES6+ features sorted by year. Find QQ8669 in the library on Flip It.
