Two tips for studying this deck
1. Learn the near-synonyms in pairs, not alone. This deck is full of terms that only make sense against their opposite: pre-money vs post-money, up round vs down round, drag-along vs tag-along, accelerator vs incubator, alpha vs beta testing, horizontal vs vertical scaling, TAM vs SAM vs SOM. Study each pair on the same card review session and ask yourself what changes between the two? — that difference is exactly what an investor or interviewer will probe.
2. Attach a real number to every metric card. "CAC" recalled as a definition is worth little; "CAC €40, LTV €160, so LTV:CAC = 4:1" is knowledge you can use. Take your own product, a side project, or a public SaaS company's numbers and fill in CAC, LTV, MRR, churn and gross margin as you review. The definitions then become a dashboard you can read.
Pacing
Twenty cards a day finishes the deck in a week. Start with the funding block if you are raising, or with the metrics block if you are running growth — the cards are independent, so the order is yours.
