An Arabic business meeting is a bad place to improvise. You can chat comfortably about family, food and weather and still go blank when a colleague asks about the هامش الربح or slides a عقد across the table. Business Arabic is a closed set — a few hundred mostly nominal terms, and because they come from Modern Standard Arabic they travel intact from Cairo to Riyadh to Dubai.

Two things to fix before you start drilling

Run this deck Arabic → English, not the other way. Dozens of English near-synonyms share a single Arabic word here: إدارة is both management and administration, تقييم is evaluation and assessment, شراء is procurement and purchasing, اقتراح is proposal and suggestion, رفض is rejection and refusal, تعديل covers modification, adjustment and amendment, تنفيذ covers implementation and execution. Prompted in English those cards are guessing games; prompted in Arabic they are all correct answers. Flip the direction and your accuracy stops lying to you. Same for the homographs running the other way: طلب is demand, order and request; حصة is share and quota; فائدة is interest and benefit; ترقية is promotion and upgrade.

Batch the cards by root. The root ع-م-ل alone gives you عمل (business), عميل (client), معاملة (transaction), عملية (process), عمليات (operations), عمل حر (freelance) and the عامل in رأس المال العامل. و-ظ-ف gives موظف، الموظفون، توظيف. ص-ن-ع gives صناعة، مصنع، تصنيع. Review a root family in one sitting and you memorise six cards for the price of one pattern.

Two transliterations on the backs are slightly off — consumer مستهلك is mustahlik (mustahlak means "consumed"), and استغلال is istighlāl. Trust the Arabic script, treat the Latin as scaffolding.

One honest limit: this is terminology, not conversation. It gives you the nouns, not how to open a meeting or soften a refusal — for that register, work through the B1 Arabic vocabulary deck of particles and conjugated verbs alongside it.
