Despite its name, the Indian History: Mughal Empire to Independence deck on Flip It (deck code CS7446, 79 cards) does not start with Babur. It starts with anatomically modern humans reaching the subcontinent 73,000-55,000 years ago and only reaches the Mughals around card 32. What you get is a chronological spine of South Asian history, one card per turning point, ending with Partition in August 1947.

Two tricks that fit this deck
Study it as a chain of successions, not isolated dates. Almost every collapse in the deck is answered by the next card: Nanda → Maurya → Shunga → Indo-Greeks; Gupta → Huna → Yashodharman → Harsha → Pratiharas; Delhi Sultanate → Timur → regional sultanates → Mughals → Marathas → Company → Crown. When a when card stumps you, ask who replaced whom and the century usually surfaces.
Watch for the deck's paired cards. Several facts appear twice with different wording — the Kalinga War via Ashoka and on its own, Partition as a date and as a definition. Treat the second appearance as a free retrieval test, not a duplicate to skip.
If you want the wider ancient world around the Indus Valley, the 184 key dates of ancient history deck runs in parallel from Mesopotamia to Rome.
Open Flip It, find CS7446 (Indian History: Mughal Empire to Independence) in the library, and start from card one — the prehistoric section is short and makes the Vedic and Mauryan cards land faster.
